Founded in 2001, Emerge.MD is a multi-national team with offices in the United States and Canada. Unlike conventional and monolithic IT development firms composed primarily of programmers and managers, Emerge.MD is composed of diverse teams, each focusing on a particular aspect of a project. For example, a team of physicians and nurses will interact directly with healthcare professionals to capture the essence of a research effort. Copy editors and Language Majors help transform any paper based questions and forms into interactive ones. Project managers work to define the scope of an endeavor and ensure appropriate timelines. Software and database engineers create a product roadmap which will be reviewed both internally by our own teams and externally by the client prior to deployment. Our helpdesk support ensures adequate client training, supervision and support both during staging and after Go-Live. Artists, animators and videographers help to create any necessary multimedia materials for staff or patient education. Finally, all documentation we provide to clients or their patients for their ongoing use is created by on staff teachers.
